Jamaica, NY- The Cougars lost to the Mt. St. Vincent College Dolphins 3-0 (17-25, 15-25, 11-25) on Saturday March 10, 2012 at the 8th Annual York College Men's Volleyball Tournament. The win improves the Dolphins to 7-12 Overall Overall while the Cougars fall to 0-17 Overall. 

The Dolphins dominated the match in kills 47-11. MEC was led from Olando Cummings. Cummings tallied 7 kills to go along with 3 digs. Lancedale Calderon recorded 9 assists, and Erick Pericles tallied a service ace, and 4 blocks (1 solo, 3 assists).

Mt. St. Vincent was led by Joe Ecock with 17 kills and Chris Bacchi with 13 kills.

Jamal Baptiste was named to the All Tournament.

MEC will be back in action on Tuesday March 13, 2012 when they take on Hunter College at MEC. Game time is 7pm.
