Brooklyn, NY- The Cougars fell to the Hunter College Hawks 3-0 (6-25, 5-25, 10-25) on Tuesday March 13, 2012 at Medgar Evers College. The win improved the Hawks record to 11-7 Overall and 8-0 CUNYAC while MEC fell to 0-18 Overall and 0-8 CUNYAC.

The Cougars played careless at times throughout the match and just seemed not in it from the start. MEC managed to achieve 6 kills for the contest.

MEC was led from Lancedale Calderon with 2 kills to go along 3 assists, a service ace, and 4 digs. Jamal Baptiste led the team in digs with 7.

Hunter was led from John Gemegah with 9 kills.

MEC will be back in action on Thursday March 15, 2012 when they travel to Jamaica, NY home of the York College Cardinals. Game time is set for 6:00pm.
