Brooklyn, NY- The Cougars fell to Brooklyn College Bulldogs 3-0 (19-25, 14-25, 13-25) on Thursday March 22, 2012 at Brooklyn College. The win improved BC to 7-12 Overall and 3-8 CUNYAC while MEC dropped to 0-23 Overall and 0-13 CUNYAC.

In the 1st set, MEC had a brief lead (2-1) before BC pulled away. BC tallied 15 kills for the set, compared to MEC with 6. As a team MEC only tallied 12 kills, compared to the Bulldogs 42. MEC only recorded 3 leads albriet brief throughout the match.

In the loss, MEC was led from Jason Brown. The Senior from Kingston, Jamaica/Canarsie, recorded 6 kills to go with an assist, and a dig. Jamal Baptiste added 5 kills. Lancedale Calderon tallied 7 assists. Baptiste and Erick Pericles added a service ace, and Christian Rodriguez recorded 7 digs. 

BC was led from Keiran Halton with 13 kills. David Dimitruk added 11 kills.

MEC will be back in action on Thursday March 29, 2012 when they travel to NYU-Polytechnic in downtown Brooklyn for a match against the Fighting Blue Jays. Game time is 7:30pm.
