New York, NY- The Cougars fell to the John Jay Bloodhounds 3-0 (18-25, 24-26, 19-25) on Saturday March 3, 2012 at CCNY.

The Bloodhounds converted 32 kills compared to the Cougars 21. MEC led sparingly throughout the match, just couldn't finish the job.

MEC in the loss was led by Senior Olando Cummings who tallied 11 kills, an assist, 8 digs, and 3 blocking assists. Jason Brown tallied 7 kills. Lancedale Calderon cumulated 18 assists.

John Jay was led by Korede Griffith with 11 kills.

MEC will be back in action on Tuesday March 6, 2012 when they take on the Lehman College Lightning at MEC. Game time is 6pm.
