COUGARS FALL TO LIGHTNING IN MEN'S SOCCER

Box Score Bronx, NY- The Men's Soccer Cougars fell to the Lehman College Lightning 12-0 earlier today. The Lightning ended their regular season at 7-10 Overall and 3-5 CUNYAC while the Cougars fall to 1-10 Overall and 0-7 CUNYAC. This game officially knocked out the Cougars out the 2013 CUNYAC Playoffs.

Medgar Evers College tallied three shots for the match and two on goal. Sophomore Midfielder Nikolai Calder struck a shot that nearly went in, if not for the Lightning's Keeper Jesus Marin, reaching out for the save. Junior Defender Borris Pendie added the other shot on goal when he rifled a shot that was right at Marin.

The Cougars will be back in action on Wednesday Oct. 23, 2013, when they play in their home season finale against John Jay College Bloodhounds. Game time will be 4pm at Old Boys Field in Brooklyn, NY. Come out and support your Cougars as we will be honoring Seniors Goalie Christopher Welsh, Midfielder/Forward Daniel Joseph, Defender Ibrahim Diallo, and Defender Denzel Sebastian.
