Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 New York, NY- The Cougars dropped a pair of conference matches to the Hunter College Hawks earlier tonight. In match 1, the Cougars only played a set due to a late showing at the school. The scores were 3-0 (0-25, 0-25, and 1-25). In Game 2, the Hawks won 3-0 (9-25, 3-25, and 8-25). Hunter improves after both matches to 9-8 Overall and 8-1 CUNYAC while the Cougars drop to 0-8 Overall and 0-6 CUNYAC. 

In Game 2, the Cougars were led by Senior Christopher Welsh with 6 kils on 20 total attacks. Welsh added 3 digs. Sophomore Wen-Liang Zhu tallied 7 assists.

Hunter was led by Matthew Ng with 12 kills.

The Cougars will be back in action on Sunday March 17, 2013, when they play in a multi match against Yeshiva University and Washington Adventist University. Game times are 11am and 3pm at Medgar Evers College.
