COUGARS FALL TO LEHMAN 3-0 IN MEN'S VOLLEYBALL

Box Score Brooklyn, NY- The Men's Volleyball Cougars fell to the Lehman College Lightning 3-0 (25-6, 25-8, 25-6) at Brooklyn College. It was played at Brooklyn College because they hosted a CUNYAC Multi Match for the rest of the conference. The John Jay vs. MEC scheduled match was postponed and MEC vs. Lehman played as scheduled. The Lightning improved to 7-8 Overall and 2-5 CUNYAC while the Cougars dropped to 0-2 Overall and 0-2 CUNYAC.

The Cougars tallied 9 kills in the match, a season high.

The Cougars in the loss, were led by Senior Christopher Welsh with 4 kills on 10 total attacks. Welsh tallied 2 assists, 6 digs, and a blocking assist. Sophomore Kadeem James recorded a service ace.

The Lightning in the win, were led by Brian Francisco and Luis Colon each with 4 kills. Brian added 9 service aces.

The Cougars will be back in action on Monday March 4, 2013, when they travel to Brooklyn Technical High School, and battle the Saint Joseph's College of Brooklyn Bears. Game time is 7:30pm.
