Box Score Bronxville, NY- The Men's Volleybal Team fell to the Albertus Magnus College Falcons 3-0 and the Sarah Lawrence College Gryphons 3-0 in a multi match at Sarah Lawrence College earlier today. In match 1, the Falcons won 3-0 (25-14, 25-13, 25-15). They improve to 10-16 Overall while the Cougars drop to 0-21 Overall.

The Cougars in the loss, were led by Senior Christopher Welsh with 7 kills. He tallied 20 total attacks and added 4 digs. Freshman Jamal Chance recorded 4 kills on 13 total attacks, tallied 4 digs, and 2 blocking assists. Sophomore Setter Wen-Liang Zhu added 6 assists.

Albertus Magnus in the win, was led by Ben Spilka with 10 kills.

In match 2, the Sarah Lawrence College Gryphons defeated the Cougars 3-0 (25-10, 25-13, 25-22). This was the 2nd time in 2013, these two teams faced each other. The Gryphons improve to 5-16 Overall while the Cougars drop to 0-22 Overall. 

The Cougars accomplished a 1st in 2013. All 6 players tallied at least 1 kill. The Cougars in the loss, were led by Freshman Jamal Chance with 5 kills on 18 total attacks. Chance added 7 digs and 2 solo blocks. Setters Kyheo Farquharson and Wen-Liang Zhu each recorded 4 assists.

The Gryphons in the win, were led by Ishaan Pujari with 12 kils.
