MEN'S SOCCER FALLS TO STATEN ISLAND DOLPHINS IN 2014 CUNYAC QUARTERFINALS

Box Score Staten Island. NY- The Men's Soccer team fell to the College of Staten Island Dolphins 5-1 in the 2014 CUNYAC Quarterfinals. The Dolphins will move on and play the Baruch College Bearcats. They improve to 10-8-2 overall (6-1-1 CUNYAC) while the Cougars drop to 4-11 overall (2-6 CUNYAC).

The Cougars got on the board first in the 20th minute. Junior Forward Zeakiel Daley scored his 13th goal of the season. Freshman Forward Dave Henry chipped the ball over the top and Daley crushed it into the net. The Cougars led 1-0. They would tally four shots in the 1st half. The Dolphins would record nine. Things would go south for the Cougars in the 2nd half. Fifeteen seconds into the 2nd half, the Dolphins tied the score one. They would take the lead 39 seconds after that. CSI would score three more goals and win 5-1.

The Cougars tallied eight shots in the game compared to CSI's 25. For the goalies Cougars Sadia LePrince Bodian played all 90 minutes, gave up five goals, and made three saves. His counterpart John Goeli played all 90 minutes, giving up a goal, and making two saves.
