COUGARS FALL TO BEAVERS IN MEN'S VOLLEYBALL

Box Score Brooklyn, NY- The Men's Volleyball team fell to the City College of New York Beavers 3-0 (25-6, 25-8, 25-13) earlier tonight. The Beavers improve to 3-7 Overall and 1-2 CUNYAC while the Cougars drop to 0-3 Overall and 0-3 CUNYAC. 

The Cougars tallied six kills on 49 total attacks. Three Cougars each tallied two kills apiece. Freshmans Austin Crawford and Jose Velasquez (both Outside Hitters), and Junior Middle Hitter Shemroy Primo all record dents in the scoreboard. Freshman Setter Angel Seda led the team in assists with four.

City College was led by Nicholas Siriban with 11 kills. Anthony Reyes tallied a match high 22 assists.

Medgar Evers College will be back in action on Saturday February 15, 2014, when they travel to New York, NY and take on John Jay College. The Bloodhounds and the Cougars will first serve at 2pm. This is will be a non conference match.
