COUGARS FALL TO BLOODHOUNDS IN MEN'S VOLLEYBALL

Box Score New York, NY- The Medgar Evers College Men's Volleyball team fell to the John Jay College Bloodhounds 3-0 (25-15, 25-17, 25-11) earlier today. This was a non-conference match.

The Cougars tallied 14 kills (a season high) on 51 total attacks (also a season high). 

The Cougars in the loss were led by Sophomore Middle Hitter Jamal Chance with five kills on 10 total attacks. Chance added five digs, two solo blocks, and a blocking assist. Freshman Outside Hitter Austin Crawford tallied four kills on 16 total attacks. Crawford recorded three assists, two service aces, and seven digs. Freshman Setter Angel Seda dished out a team high 10 assists. 

John Jay College was led in the win by Jack Palleschi with a game high 18 kills.

The Cougars will be back in action on Wednesday February 19, 2014, when the Saint Joseph's College of Brooklyn Bears invade Medgar Evers College. This borough rival will begin at 7pm.
