Box Score Jamaica, NY-  The Medgar Evers College Men's Volleyball team fell to the York College Cardinals 3-0 (25-5, 25-12, and 25-10). The Cardinals improve to 11-4 Overall and 5-1 CUNYAC, while the Cougars fall to 0-7 Overall and 0-5 CUNYAC.

The York Cardinals led the first two sets. The third set was a see saw set. It featured five ties and three lead changes. The Cougars led twice 1-0 and 4-3. York regained the lead at 4-3, before the Cougars tied the score at 5. York lead for the last time and won the 3rd set 25-10.

In the loss, the Cougars were led by Freshman Outside Hitter Austin Crawford with a career high six kills on 16 total attacks. The Belize native added an assist and six digs. Sophomore Middle Hitter Jamal Chance tallied three kills on 14 total attacks. Freshman Setter Angel Seda recorded a team high 10 assists.

In the win, York Cardinals were led by Maximo Bonilla with a match high 14 kills. Bryan Williams dished out 12 assists.     

The Cougars will be back in action on Saturday March 1, 2014, when they travel to Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY and play the Cannoneers. Game time is 1pm.
