Box Score Brooklyn, NY- The Medgar Evers College Men's Volleyball Cougars fell to the Hunter College Hawks 3-0 (25-3, 25-8, and 25-14) earlier tonight. The Hawks improve to 8-8 Overall and 7-1 CUNYAC while the Cougars drop to 0-13 Overall and 0-9 CUNYAC. 

After not playing well in the first two sets, they regrouped and pushed the Hawks in the 3rd set. The Cougars talled five kills on 13 total attacks in the set. They hit .385%.

In the loss, the Cougars were led by Freshman Outside Hitter Austin Crawford with four kills on eight total attacks. The Belize native dished out an assist, added five digs, and a solo block. Freshman Setter and Co-Captain Angel Seda tallied a team high six assists. The Puerto Rican recorded a service ace, and added two digs.

In the win, Hunter was led by Stanley Martinez with nine kills.

The Cougars will be back in action on Saturday March 15, 2014, when they play Cooper Union at Medgar Evers College. First serve will be 2pm.
