Box Score Brooklyn, NY- The Medgar Evers College Men's Volleyball team fell to the Baruch College Bearcats 3-0 (25-15, 25-7, and 25-4). The Bearcats improve to 19-7 Overall and 10-0 CUNYAC while the Cougars drop to 0-15 Overall and 0-10 CUNYAC.

The Cougars played their best volleyball in the 1st set. They tallied a hitting percentage of .385%. They tallied 10 kills as a team (five of which occurred in the 1st set).

In the loss, the Cougars were led by Freshman Outside Hitter Austin Crawford with six kills on 14 total attacks. The Belize native added a dig, and solo block. Freshman Setter and Co-Captain Angel Seda led the team with eight assists. 

In the win, Baruch was led by Jack McKee with 11 kills. Scott Standring added a match high 29 assists.    

The Cougars will be back in action on Thursday March 20, 2014, when the John Jay College Bloodhounds. Game time will be 7pm at Medgar Evers College.
