Box Score Old Westbury, NY- The Medgar Evers College Men's Soccer fell to the College of Old Westbury Panthers 8-1 earlier today. The Panthers improve to 3-0 Overall while the Cougars drop to 0-1 Overall.

The College of Old Westbury scored six goals in the 1st half. Five the goals were scored in the first 20 minutes, Senior Goalkeeper Sadia LePrince Bodian played the 1st 14 minutes, gave up four goals, and made no saves. Sophomore Kedric Flemius replaced Bodian in the 15th minute, and played the rest of the game. The St. Lucia native gave up four goals, and made seven saves.  

The Cougars tallied 11 shots, six on goal. Underclassmen Patrick Gentles led the team in shots with three (two on goal), and Dave Henry followed with two shots (two on goal). The Cougars scored on an own goal from Old Westbury in the 20th minute.

The Cougars will be back in action on Friday Sept. 12, 2014, when they travel to Randall's Island Field 10 and play the Sarah Lawrence College Gryphons. Game time is 7:30pm.
