Box Score BROOKLYN, N.Y – The Medgar Evers men's soccer team hung tough in the first half, but was overmatched in the second they dropped an 9-0 decision to the College of Old Westbury Monday afternoon at the Aviator Sports Complex.

The Cougars (2-13-2) got eight saves from
Remorn Radway filling in as goalkeeper. They also got shots from
Patrick Gentles and
Omari Edwards, while
Shakeel Warrick played solid defense throughout in a losing effort.

Dominick Guidice earned a hat trick on five shots on goal for the Bearcats (5-9-2), while Tana Weekes was the main distributor with five assists. Ryan Finnin added two scores, while Ronald Monge had one goal and an assist in the win.

Medgar Evers will look to pull off the upset on the road as the number-eight seed in the CUNYAC Men's Soccer Championship Tournament when they face off with top-seeded College of Staten Island on Wednesday.
