JAMAL CHANCE TALLIES CAREER HIGH 17 KILLS AGAINST PRATT

BROOKLYN, N.Y.- The Men's Volleyball team fell to the Pratt Institute Cannoneers 3-1 (11-25, 25-22, 16-25, and 20-25) earlier tonight. Pratt improves to 2-1 overall while the Cougars fall to 0-10 overall. 

The Cougars 33 kills on 83 total attacks. This marked a season high in kills. They tallied 21 of the 33 total swings in the 2nd and 3rd sets. In the loss, the Cougars were led by junior middle hitter/opposite hitter Jamal Chance with 17 kills on 31 total attacks. Jamal added a service ace, eight digs, and a solo block. Freshman outside hitter/middle hitter Denzel Williams recoorded 10 kills on 24 total attacks. Denzel added a service ace and two digs. Sophomore setter Angel Seda dished out 24 assists. Junior outside hitter/setter Adiel Ramos Munoz led the team in sevice aces with three. Pratt was led by David Cutler with 11 kills. 

The Cougars will be back in action on Tuesday, February. 24, 2015, when they play the St. Joseph's College of Brooklyn Bears at Medgar Evers College. First serve will be 7:00 p.m.
