Box Score BROOKLYN, N.Y.- The Men's Volleyball team defeated the Brooklyn College Bulldogs 3-0 (25-19, 25-21, and 25-20) earlier tonight. The Cougars improve to 2-19, 1-11 CUNYAC while Brooklyn drops to 0-24, 0-12 CUNYAC. This is the Cougars first conference victory since 2007.
The Cougars dominated the match. They tallied 25 kills on 94 total attacks while Brooklyn recorded 18 kills on 86 total attacks.
The Cougars were led by junior middle hitter/opposite hitter
Jamal Chance with a match high 12 kills on 38 total attacks. Jamal added three service aces, eight digs, and two blocking assists. Freshman outside hitter/middle hitter
Denzel Williams recorded nine kills on 28 total attacks. Denzel added two service aces and a match high 11 digs. Sophomore setter
Angel Seda dished out a match high 20 assists. Angel added a match high six service aces. Brooklyn was led by Vaugh Ford and Shawn Varghese with seven kills apiece.
The Cougars will be back in action on Tuesday, March. 24, when they travel to the Bronx, N.Y. and play the Lehman College Lightning. First serve will be 6:00 p.m.
