Box Score 2 JAMAICA, N.Y.- The Men's Volleyball team fell to the City College of New York Beavers and John Jay Bloodhounds earlier today.
In match 1, the Beavers (4-13, 2-7 CUNYAC) defeated the Cougars (0-15, 0-8 CUNYAC) 3-0 (15-25, 15-25, 16-25).The Cougars recorded 10 kills on 49 total attacks. They were led by junior middle hitter/opposite hitterÂ
Jamal Chance with seven kills on 21 total attacks. Jamal added six digs, two solo blocks, and a blocking assist. Sophomore setter
Angel Seda dished out a team high nine assists and freshman outside hitter/middle hitterÂ
Denzel Williams led the team with 12 digs. CCNY was led by Anthony Reyes and Leudy Veras with 11 and 10 kills apiece.
In match two, the John Jay Bloodhounds defeated the Cougars 3-0 (13-25, 13-25, 12-25). MEC recorded 14 kills on 71 total attacks. Junior middle hitter/opposite hitterÂ
Jamal Chance led the Cougars with six kills on 17 total attacks. Jamal added a service ace, nine digs, and two solo blocks. Freshman outside hitter/middle hitterÂ

The Cougars will be back in action on Tuesday, March. 10, when they travel to Bronxville, N.Y. and take on the Sarah Lawrence College Gryphons. First serve is 7:00 p.m.Â
