Box Score Women's Volleyball Loses to Eastern Connecticut St. 3-0
WILLIMANTIC, CONN. (Oct. 29, 2016) – On Friday night, the women's volleyball team traveled to Eastern Connecticut St. for a non-conference match to end the season. The Lady Cougars struggled on the night recording just five kills and two aces. The team has improved drastically since game one although it may not show in the box score. With many talented freshman on the roster the future looks very bright for Medgar Evers women's volleyball.
 
Senior Kalifa Roberts led the way in her final match at Medgar Evers with six digs, four kills and one ace on the night while classmate Naomi Chandler recorded two assists and one kill. With this loss, Medgar Evers finishes the season winless at 0-27 while Eastern Connecticut St. improves to 17-10.
