Box Score Men's Soccer Falls 2-1 at Baruch
NEW YORK, N.Y. (Oct. 3, 2016) – On Monday night, the men's soccer team took on the Bearcats of Baruch College in a CUNYAC matchup. Baruch took an early lead with a goal from Jaime Zurro in the 14
th minute. The Cougars' were able to cut the deficit in half with an own goal by Baruch in the 88
th minute but ran out of time losing 2-1. With this loss, Medgar Evers falls to 2-8 on the season while Baruch improves to 3-5-1 on the year.
Of the seven shots from the Cougars', six of them were shots on goal but they were not able to push one across on their own. Freshman goalkeeper
Kevin Ngwolo recorded eight saves on the night also.
Men's soccer will be back in action on Wednesday, October 5, when they take on their conference and borough rival Brooklyn College. The game will begin at 4 p.m. and take place in Brooklyn, N.Y.
