Box Score Men's Soccer Comes Up Short Against Conference Rival CCNY
BROOKLYN, N.Y. (Oct. 8, 2016) – On Saturday, the men's soccer team took on the City College of New York in a CUNYAC matchup at Kingsborough Community College. Medgar Evers gave up the deciding goal in the 80^th minute and were unable to pull off the upset. With this loss, Medgar Evers drops their fifth straight match and falls to 2-10 (1-6 CUNYAC) on the season while CCNY improves to 6-7-1 (4-1-1 CUNYAC).
 
Medgar Evers was led by freshman forward Garrek Estrada, who scored a goal to even the game at 1, on a long shot just outside the box and just over the goalies hands. Classmate Kevin Ngwolo had three saves in the net.
 
Men's soccer will be back in action on Monday, October 10, when they take on Sarah Lawrence College in a nonconference matchup beginning at 7 p.m. in Bronxville, N.Y.
