Box Score BROOKLYN, N.Y. – The Medgar Evers men's volleyball team lost in straight sets at home to non-conference opponent Lancaster Bible College, 3-0 [12-25, 14-25, 14-25], Friday night at the Cougars Cave.
In the loss,
Jamal Chance (Gouyave, Grenada) led the Cougars (0-12) with eight kills with five digs and a service ace.
Kareem Cyrus (Brooklyn, N.Y.) added four kills with a team-high six digs, while
Shaquille Miller (Brooklyn, N.Y.) slammed two kills and five digs. Junior
Angel Seda (Brooklyn, N.Y.) also tallied 11 assists as the primary setter.
The Chargers (4-10) were paced by Derek Bigley, who posted team-bests in kills (six) and digs (five) in the victory. Gardy Martin dished 16 assists while Kasey Gentry connected on six kills and a game-high six aces.
