Box Score BROOKLYN, N.Y. – The Medgar Evers men's volleyball team was defeated soundly in straight sets by CUNYAC foe Baruch College, 3-0 [10-25, 8-25, and 10-25], Thursday night at the Cougars Cave.

In defeat, Jamal Chance (Gouyave, Grenada) had team-highs six kills and eight digs for the Cougars (1-17, 0-10 CUNYAC). Shaquille Miller (Brooklyn, N.Y.) added two kills with five digs and a block, while Kareem Cyrus (St. Georges, Grenada) chipped in with a kill and six digs. Setter Angel Seda (Brooklyn, N.Y.) added seven assists in a losing effort.

The Bearcats (10-9, 9-1 CUNYAC) had a balanced attack led by Braden Carter, who tallied a team-best nine kills with seven service asses and two blocks. Brian Coniglio totaled double figures in two categories with 22 assists and 10 digs, while Thomas Leslein (eight kills) and Nathaniel Chin (seven) added to the team's 31 total kills.
