Box Score Men's Soccer Loses a Heartbreaker in Overtime
MASPETH, N.Y. (Sep. 17, 2016) – On Saturday, the men's soccer team was in action against Baruch College in a CUNYAC matchup. The Cougars were tied at halftime but lost in overtime on a game winning goal in the 106^th minute. With this loss, the men's soccer team falls to 2-3 (1-1 CUNYAC) on the season while Baruch improves to 3-2 (2-0 CUNYAC).

Sophomore forward Lorenzo Pierre-Louis got the Cougars started with an equalizer goal in the 25^th minute assisted by freshman Darrell Ambersley. In the 30^th minute, Medgar Evers took the lead with a goal from junior Dave Henry, the assist from junior Patrick Gentles. Freshman Kevin Ngwolo saved four shots in the match.

Men's soccer will be back in action on Wednesday, September 21, when they take on conference opponent John Jay College in New York, N.Y. The time is TBA.
