Box Score Men's Soccer Shut Out by Old Westbury
OLD WESTBURY, N.Y. (Sep. 26, 2016) – On Wednesday, the men's soccer team took on the Panthers of Old Westbury in a non-conference matchup. Medgar Evers fell behind quickly as allowed a goal to Old Westbury's Chris Agbodoh in the 3
rd minute. The Cougars let in two more early in the second half and losing by the final score of 3-0. With this loss, Medgar Evers drops their fifth straight match and falls to 2-6 on the season while Old Westbury improves to 3-2-4 on the year.
The Cougars were able to get up 11 shots on the game but managed just four shots on goal. Freshman goalkeeper
Kevin Ngwolo had a season-high nine saves on the night also.
Men's soccer will be back in action on Wednesday, October 5, when they take on their conference and borough rival Brooklyn College. The game will begin at 4 p.m. and take place in Brooklyn, N.Y.
