Men's Soccer Falls in Season Opener

Box Score Brooklyn, N.Y.-The Medgar Evers College Men's soccer team fell to Farmingdale state in their season opener in overtime at a score of 0-1 on a cloudy Saturday Afternoon.

The Cougars fought hard for the first 90 Minutes, keeping up with Rams offense. Freshman Nestor Silvas made two shot attempts, while Sophomore Lorenzo Pierre Louis attempted three. The Gold and yellow did not back down as Flynn Shanahan (Valley Stream, NY) led the charge with five shot attempts.

Freshmans' Miguel Deanda and Papa Samb deserve notable mentions as they keep the energy up in this hard fought match. Goalie Kevin Ngwolo strong saving effort kept the Cougars in the fight with eight saves.
