The Cougars, who are 16-6 on the year, will be making their first appearance in the semifinals of the CUNYAC Championship since 2005. She is just the second CUNYAC Coach of the Year in the program's history, after Avril O' Neal in 2003.
Jaquez was second on Medgar Evers with 200 kills and is tied for seventh in the CUNYAC with 2.82 kills per set. Jaquez also posted a team-best 30Â service aces and 175 digs, and his totals of 0.42 aces per set and 2.46 digs per set are fourth and sixth-best in the CUNYAC, respectively.
