A new era of Medgar Evers College women's soccer is set to begin this fall, as the Cougars have announced their 2026 schedule, featuring 11 regular-season contests and a challenging slate of CUNYAC competition.

The Cougars open the 2026 campaign on Wednesday, Sept. 16, traveling to Jamaica, N.Y., to face York College (NY) at the York College Outdoor Athletic Complex. Kickoff is scheduled for 3 p.m.

Medgar Evers will host its first home contest of the season on Monday, Sept. 21, welcoming Lehman College to Lehman College South Field in the Bronx for a 3:30 p.m. matchup.

The Cougars will then begin a demanding stretch of CUNYAC competition, with five conference contests highlighting the 2026 schedule. Medgar Evers will face The City College of New York on Oct. 3, Lehman College on Oct. 6, York College on Oct. 19, Brooklyn College on Oct. 23, and John Jay College on Oct. 26.

Following the Oct. 6 meeting with Lehman, the Cougars will travel to The College at Old Westbury on Oct. 8 before taking on Maritime College on Oct. 13 at Reinhart Field in Throggs Neck, N.Y., at 6 p.m.

Medgar Evers returns home for a critical late-season stretch beginning Oct. 19 against York College. The Cougars will then host Saint Elizabeth University on Oct. 21, Brooklyn College on Oct. 23 and John Jay College on Oct. 26.

The regular season concludes on Thursday, Oct. 29, when Medgar Evers travels to Yeshiva University.

With five CUNYAC contests packed into the second half of the schedule, the Cougars will have an opportunity to make their mark in conference play while building toward the postseason.

The CUNYAC Championship Tournament is scheduled to begin with the semifinals on Saturday, Oct. 31, with semifinal contests played at the higher seeds. The CUNYAC Championship is slated for Saturday, Nov. 7 at 1:30 p.m., with the title game being played at York College.

With a new chapter beginning for the program, the 2026 season represents more than another schedule for Medgar Evers College women's soccer. It marks the beginning of a new era, as the Cougars look to establish themselves as a competitive force within CUNYAC and build a foundation for sustained success.
