Box Score Bethlehem, PA- The Lady Cougars tied the least amount of points scored 19 this season, losing to Moravian College Greyhounds 96-19 on Monday Jan. 2, 2012. The loss dropped MEC to 2-8 Overall while Moravian improved to 6-4.

The Lady Cougars only carried 5 players to this tournament. With that in mind, they need to play smart basketball, use zones and make their shots. There wasn't alot that worked for the Lady Cougars. Moravian outscored MEC 54-9 in the 1st half. Chantal Biscette led the Lady Cougars in the half with 7pts (3-6 FT) and 10 rebounds. She also tallied 2 blocks. Yvanna Jack was the other MEC athlete to score in the half. Jack scored 2pts and grabbed 3 rebounds.

In the 2nd half, MEC managed to score 10pts. They were outscored 42-10. Chantal Biscette led her team in the half with 6pts (4-4 FT). He grabbed 5 rebounds and tallied a steal. Yvanna Jack scored 4pts (2-2 FT), grabbed  6 rebounds and a assist.

For the game, Senior Chantal Biscette led the team with 13pts and grabbed 15 rebounds. She added 2 blocks and a steal. Fellow classmate Yvanna Jack scored 6pts and grabbed 9 rebounds. She added an assist. As a team, they shot 75% from the free throw line. Moravian was led by Danielle Brogan and Alexis Wright. They both scored 16pts.

The Lady Cougars will be back in action on Tuesday Jan. 3, 2012, when they play the Delaware Valley College Aggies in the consolation game of the 11th Annual Starters Moravian Winter Classic. Game time is set for 1pm.
