Box Score Bethlehem, PA- The Lady Cougars lost to Delaware Valley College Aggies (Del Val) 59-24 on Tuesday Jan. 3, 2012 in the consolation game of the 11th Annual Starters Moravian Winter Classic. The loss dropped the Lady Cougars to 2-9 Overall while the Aggies improved to 6-5.

The Lady Cougars led just 1 time in this game (3-2 18:52 left in the 1st). With just 5 players once again, they played hard but were beat. MEC shot 24.3% from the field and 30% from the free throw line. Del Val shot 39.7% from the field, 28.6% from 3pt. range, and 100% from the free throw line.

MEC was led by Senior Chantal Biscette. In consecutive games, she tallied a double double. Biscette who was named to the All Tournament Team, scored 14pts, grabbed 15 rebounds, recorded an assist and 4 steals. Fellow Seniors Yvanna Jack and Chathalia Jones scored 6 and 4pts respectively. Jack grabbed 12 rebounds and recorded an assist, and  2 steals. Jones tallied an assist. Del Val was led by Sarah Delcasale scored 13pts.

The Lady Cougars will be back in action on Wednesday Jan. 4, 2012, when they return to conference play and take on rival College of Staten Island Dolphins at CSI. Game time is set for 5:30pm.
