Box Score 3 Riverdale, NY- The Men's Volleyball team played three matches earlier today at the 2014 Dolphins Quad Match, held on the campus of the College of Mt. St. Vincent. In match 1, the Cougars dropped a three setter to SUNYIT Wildcats 3-0 (15-25, 10-25, 15-25). The Wildcats improve to 12-4 Overall while the Cougars drop to 0-17 Overall.
The Cougars recorded a hitting percentage in the positive range in the first two sets, .167% and .087%. They tallied 13 kills for the match.
Leading the Cougars in the loss, was Freshman Outside Hitter
Austin Crawford with eight kills on 21 total attacks. The Belize native added four digs. Sophomore Outside Hitter
Adiel Ramos Munoz led the team with six assists. The Bronx native also recorded six digs.
In the win, the Wildcats were led by Sean Conte with 13 kills.
In match 2, the Wildcats of Cazenovia College defeated the Medgar Evers College Cougars 3-0 (21-25, 18-25, 9-25). The Wildcats improve to 1-16 Overall while the Cougars drop to 0-18 Overall.
The Cougars tallied 25 kills as a team, 2nd highest this season. They hit in the positive range, once again in the 1st two sets (.219% and .133%).
The Cougars in the loss, were led by Sophomore Middle Hitter
Jamal Chance with eight kills on 16 total attacks. The Grenada native dished out two assists, added a service ace, eleven digs, and recorded five blocks (two solo and three blocking assists). Freshman Outside Hitter
Austin Crawford recorded seven kills. Crawford led the team in digs with 14. Freshman Setter
Angel Seda dished out a team high 13 assists.
In the win, Cazenovia was led by Conor Scholefield with six kills.
In the third match of the day, the Cougars fell to the College of Mt. St. Vincent Dolphins 3-0 (10-25, 14-25, and 14-25). The Dolphins improve to 11-7 Overall while the Cougars drop to 0-19 Overall.
The Cougars tallied 16 kills for the match. They hit in the positive range of .118% and .188%.
In the loss, the Cougars were led by Sophomore Middle Hitter

The Cougars will be back in action on Wednesday March 26, 2014, when they travel to Brooklyn Technical High School, and battle the Saint Joseph's College of Brooklyn Bears. Game time is 7pm.
