WOMEN'S SOCCER GOALIE MARLENE THOMPSON MAKES 17 SAVES AGAINST MT. ST. VINCENT

Brooklyn, NY- The Medgar Evers College Women's Soccer team fell to the College of Mt. St. Vincent Dolphins 13-0 earlier tonight. The win improved the Dolphins to 6-2 overall while the Cougars drop to 0-9 overall. 

The Cougars tallied two shots and both were on-goal. They moved the ball well at times and were communicating to each other. Sophomore Goalie Marlene Thompson played all 90 minutes, giving up 13 goals, and making 17 saves. Her counterpart Shannon Doyle played the 1st half and made no saves. Her backup Kerilyn O'Keefe played the 2nd half, and carouled two saves. 

The Cougars will be back in action on Saturday October 4, 2014 when they play the City College of New York Beavers. Game time will be 12:00 pm at Avaitor Sports and Recreation Center.
