Box Score 2 NEW YORK, N.Y.- The Men's Volleyball team fell to the College of Staten Island Dolphins (3-0) and Baruch College Bearcats (3-0) at Hunter College earlier today. In the first, the Cougars (0-8, 0-4 CUNYAC) fell to the College of Staten Island Dolphins (3-5, 2-2 CUNYAC) 3-0 (25-22, 25-16, 25-10).
The Cougars tallied 19 kills on 54 total attacks. Junior middle hitter/opposite hitter
Jamal Chance recorded eight kills 17 total attacks. Jamal added four digs and three blocking assists. Freshman outside hitter/middle hitter
Denzel Williams tallied five kills on 17 total swings. He added four digs and a solo block. Sophomore setter
Angel Seda dished out 13 assists. Angel added four digs and three blocking assists. CSI was led by Mark Palencia with nine kills.
In match two, the Baruch College Bearcats (6-3, 4-1 CUNYAC) deated the (0-9, 0-5 CUNYAC) 3-0 (25-7, 25-3, and 25-4).The Cougars tallied seven kills on 41 total attacks. They were led by
Jamal Chance with five kills on 21 total swings. He added four digs and two blocking assists.
Angel Seda dished out seven assists. Baruch was led by Rudin Jacob with 10 kills.Â
The Cougars will be back in action on Thursday, February. 19, 2015, when they play the Pratt Institute Cannoneers at Medgar Evers College. First serve will be 7:00 p.m.   Â
